OFFICIAL: CK Akunnor Joins Kotoko On A Three-Year Deal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has finally unveiled C.K Akonnor as their new head coach,the 44-year-old trainer has officially been signed by the Kumasi-based club, thepublisheronline.com can confirm as he replaces Paa Kwesi Fabin.

The former Dreams FC coach led Ashantigold to second place after the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier but parted ways with the club following reports of a rift between him and the CEO of the club.

Coach Akunnor has joined the Porcupine Warriors lads as replacement for former Ghana U17 Paa Kwesi Fabin who resigned few weeks ago. He signed a three-year deal with Asante Kotoko after agreeing terms with the club on Monday morning.

The 44-year-old has enormous experience on the local terrain, having coached Eleven Wise, Accra Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC and Ashantigold. The former AshantiGold gaffer won the race for the Kotoko job ahead of Coach Yusif Abubakar and Bashir Hayford.

Akunnor has previously managed clubs including Hearts of Oak, Sekondi Eleven Wise, Dreams FC and recently Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC.
