Otumfuo Storms Jubilee House …With 24 Paramount Chiefs

PRESIDENT NANA Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today receive a special guest, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Jubilee House.

It is the first time the Asante King is visiting the seat of government since the election of President Nana Akufo-Addo in December 2016.

The visit, sources at the Manhyia Palace said, will enable Otumfuo to officially bless the President as he had consistently done to the nation’s leaders during his 19-year reign.

Otumfuo, who rarely moves outside the Manhyia Palace, would be making the historic visit with 24 paramount chiefs from Asanteman.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the presidency is making frantic preparations to make the day memorable.

THE PUBLISHER has gathered that the Asantehene may also visit all the past presidents in their various homes in Accra.

They are Messrs Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama.
