A Plus expresses shock over Okoe Boye’s parliamentary seat lost

Social Commentator and General Manager for Class Media Group Kwame A Plus says, he is in shock after hearing incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ledzokuku constituency, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye’s hopes of securing a second term as a legislator were dashed.

The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Benjamin Ayiku Narteh with a total of 55,938 votes snatched the seat from the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Dr. Okoe Boye who garnered 54,072 votes in the constituency.

A Plus in a Facebook post said, “I can understand why so many NPP MPs lost their seats. The only one I’m trying so hard to understand is why Oko Boye lost.”

I can understand why so many NPP MPs lost their seats. The only one I’m trying so hard to understand is why Oko Boye lost. So I called a lady friend in his constituency to ask how come.
She told me that, ontua. (He does not pay) I was like, how? Ontua sɛn? She said, bra Kwame, me se ontua ooo. Then I said Maame, but he bought taxi cabs for young people in his constituency. He has given many young people scholarships. He has given so many people jobs. He even ensured that the Lekma road is fixed. How can you say ontua.
Then she said, bra Kwame, wo diɛ no bi. Me: how? My what? Lady: credit nkoaaa. Ontua da. Me: Nonsense!!! Stop misbehaving. Mɛ frɛ wo later. Bye!!!
