The paper learnt that the roads were in bad condition but it got worsened after few rainfalls in the city, lately.

Kwaku Ofori, a resident, bemoaned that they were gradually being cut from Kumasi and other the nearby areas. He said in the absence of cars in the area, residents had no option than to walk several miles to the next town to board cars to Kumasi and other parts of the country.

Another resident, Maame Afia, on her part, said they have great difficulty in sending their merchandise to the market and have difficulty in conveying sick people in the area to hospital.
