Robbers Kill Police Officer At Bogoso

Another police officer with the Tarkwa Divisional Police Command, Nicholas Duku, has been shot dead by four (4) masked armed men suspected to be robbers at Bogoso around 1530 hours of Sunday, April 29, 2018.
The policeman was said to be on escort duty from Tarkwa to Bogoso.
The robbers took away Gh900,000 from Rajinder Singh, an Indian Businessman based at Bogoso in the Western Region.
A Nissan Rogue with registration number GE 411- 16 which the robbers used was subsequetly abandoned at the outskirts of Oppong Valley.
The robbery, according to police recorded no other casualty.
There is an ongoing manhunt for the four suspects by the Tarkwa Divisional and Prestea District Patrol teams, together with members of the Bogoso community.
