Stop Pressuring Men for Money – Nana Aba Anamoah Tells Women

Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has urged women to stop putting unnecessary financial pressure on men simply because they are men.

Nana Aba made the comments in a post on X on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, where she spoke about the expectations some women place on men to provide for their needs.

According to her, being a man does not automatically mean having the money to satisfy every request from a woman.

She questioned what a man without the means to meet such demands was expected to do.

“Stop piling unnecessary pressure on men. The fact that he’s a man doesn’t mean he’s automatically responsible for providing whatever a woman asks for. What if he simply doesn’t have it at that particular time?” she said.

Nana Aba further encouraged women to consider working for what they need instead of placing all the responsibility on men.

“What exactly is he supposed to do? Steal? Being a man doesn’t make money magically appear. She could’ve asked someone else, yes, but she could have worked for it too through her job or by getting a job,” she added.

Her comments have sparked discussion about relationships, financial expectations and personal responsibility.
