‘Together Project’ partners Kobby Kyei to help Ghanaian Artisans

Kobbykyeinews may not have been in existence for that long a time but it seems the little work done so far has traveled beyond Ghanaian borders. The aim of helping others seems to have caught external attention and this has led to the “Together Project” reaching out to kobbykyeinews and Polish Till You Shine Foundation to help Ghanaian artisans gain access to global brands and customers.

In view of that an expatriate team from Sydney over the weekend caught up with CEO of Kobbykyeinews and Polish Till You Shine Foundation, Mr. Augustus Koranteng Kyei (Kobby Kyei) in an interview that happened at Kokomlemle, Accra in the comfortable ambience of “Somewhere Nice” hostel. Among the myriad of issues that were discussed was the brand kobbykyeinews, Polish Till You Shine Foundation and how even that phrase came about, challenges in the blogging space, where the future lies for Kobbykyeinews and many others.

With the mission of creating sustainable ‘ethical luxury platforms’, the project seeks to elevate the value and image of artisans and their works. It also bids to help artisans establish their economies and by so doing reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of craft producing communities globally.

And I must say that it felt good having a good chat with the team and we feel proud to be part of this course to help poverty reduction and improve the lives of fellow Ghanaians. We are also grateful to “Together Project” for counting us worthy to be given this life changing opportunity. Like we always say, let’s all Polish Till We Shine.
