Tonto Dikeh Launches New Prophetic Ministry

Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), a new spiritual movement aimed at bringing believers together to develop a deeper relationship with God.

The actress made the announcement in an Instagram post, describing NWPT as an interdenominational altar, spiritual home and global movement for Christians seeking spiritual growth and a stronger connection with God.

According to Dikeh, the movement is inspired by the Bible passage in Mark 2:22, which states, “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins…”

She said NWPT is meant to be “a dwelling place of His presence” for people who are not satisfied with what she described as lukewarm Christianity. The movement, she said, will focus on genuine revival, spiritual transformation and experiencing the power of God.

Dikeh outlined the vision of NWPT as creating “a global awakening of consecrated believers operating in the raw power, purity, and presence of God.”

She said the movement hopes to transform nations and help advance Christ’s Kingdom on earth.

The actress also explained that the mission of NWPT is to build an interdenominational altar focused on prayer, revival and apostolic training.

According to her, the training will equip watchmen, develop spiritual gifts and encourage believers to win souls. It will also seek to bring freedom to people facing spiritual bondage through the Holy Spirit.

Dikeh stressed that NWPT is not a church. Instead, she described it as “an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God.”

She said the movement would bring together believers who are set apart, refined by God’s presence and committed to advancing His Kingdom.

The launch marks a new chapter in Dikeh’s public expression of her Christian faith, as she seeks to create a platform centred on prayer, revival and spiritual transformation.
