Top European Clubs Push for New Signings

Europe’s transfer market continues to gather pace as several top clubs move closer to completing important deals before the new season.

Manchester City are preparing for the possibility of a bid from Real Madrid for Spanish midfielder Rodri. The 30-year-old, who helped Spain win the World Cup, remains an important player for City. Despite the expected interest from the Spanish giants, the club is hopeful Rodri will sign a new contract. Meanwhile, Paris St-Germain are not planning to make a move for the midfielder.

Leeds United are close to completing a £40 million deal to sign England goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City. The 23-year-old is expected to become one of the club’s major additions this summer.

Manchester United are also in advanced talks to loan Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee to Juventus for the season. The agreement is expected to include an option for the Italian club to buy the 25-year-old for £30 million.

Crystal Palace have agreed personal terms with Brest defender Raphael Le Guen. The 19-year-old French centre-back could become Palace’s latest defensive signing.

Real Madrid have also submitted a second offer worth between £94 million and £98 million for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. However, further discussions are needed before a deal can be completed for the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international.

Elsewhere, Sunderland have agreed personal terms with Toulouse left-back Dayann Methalie, while West Brom have secured a deal for French defender Nolan Galves. Ipswich Town are also showing interest in Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic as clubs across Europe continue their search for reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.
