Vanilla of mentor fame out with a banger titled ”sikilite”

Over the years, music reality shows have become a popular way for singers and performers to go from ordinary, everyday people to household stars. The music market has also expanded and created many opportunities for singers to follow their dreams.

Reality television shows as a whole has created avenues for it stars to step into the spotlight. While it may work out fantastically for some at the start of their career, it may sometimes take a little longer to get the traction needed to become a certified star.

When leading Ghanaian television platform, TV3 Network announced the return of its popular music reality show, Mentor, many were those that expected a bang from the Mentor Reloaded edition knowing how impactful the platform had been in the discovery and development of several Ghanaian musicians.

And yes when the competition started, there were several shining stars with one who continually received applauds from music connoisseurs and followers of the show. He went on to the grand finale and missed out of the ultimate, but gave a great show, Evans is the music star!

After Mentor, he has been learning the rudiments of the trade, honing his talent and sharpening his skill under the tutelage of Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian talent management firm, BullHAUS Entertainment.

Rebranded and now known as Vanilla, he has released his first single titled Sikilite under BullHAUS Entertainment. The song produced by Genius Selection chronicles critical elements in our relationships with our friends and loved ones. It is basically about the realities in our relationships.

Currently receiving rotation on several media platforms across the country and online reviews, Vanilla has revealed that he is not in to add to the numbers of Ghanaian musicians but wants to make a great impact with his talent and help revolutionaries the Ghanaian music space. He believes the Sikilite is going to start his journey magically.

Programmes and Special Project Officer of BullHAUS Entertainment, Ms. Esther Ohene – Asah revealed the reason why her outfit is working with Vanilla. “We have worked with the very best of talents in Ghana and we are at a stage we wish to make exploits across the continent and beyond. Vanilla has what it takes to go global with the right work ethics to be transformed into one of the biggest music exports from Ghana”, she added.
