Volta Region’s Etornam Wins Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2025

Isabella Etornam Gagblezu, a 30-year-old representing the Volta Region, has been crowned the winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2025, taking home the crown, a brand-new car, cash prize, and the ultimate bragging rights.

Etornam’s brilliant performance, confident answers during the final question segment, and overwhelming support from her fans gave her an edge over her closest contenders — Asakia, Sika, Nana, and Adjorkor.

Born in Yeji, Etornam’s early life was far from easy. Growing up in a broken home, she endured many hardships, including abuse, stigma, and the struggles of street life. To survive, she hawked on the streets and worked as a “trotro mate.”

Despite these challenges, she refused to give up. With determination and resilience, she pursued her education at Adidome Senior High School and later at the Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism in Kumasi, where she sharpened her communication and presentation skills.

During the semi-finals, Etornam impressed judges and viewers by winning both the Star Performer and Best Costume awards, just as Makafui did in 2024 and Selorm in 2023. She also made history as the third winner from the Volta Region, following Emefa in 2012 and Selorm in 2023. Throughout the competition, she earned six awards and twelve nominations, making her the most decorated contestant this season.

Asakia from the Upper East Region finished as first runner-up, followed by Ashanti Region’s Sika in second place. Nana and Adjorkor placed third and fourth, respectively.

The grand finale, held at the National Theatre, was a night filled with beauty, confidence, and cultural pride, a true celebration of Ghanaian womanhood.

With her victory, Etornam’s Early Childhood Education Project will now come to life. The initiative aims to promote quality education for all children, regardless of their background or location.
