World Cup Performance Pushes Ghana Up In Latest FIFA Ranking

Ghana’s impressive performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup has helped the Black Stars make a major improvement in the latest FIFA World Rankings.

The team has moved up eight places to 65th in the world after their display at the tournament. This is the second-biggest rise in the latest rankings, only behind Norway, who climbed 12 places.

Ghana’s improved ranking comes after the Black Stars reached the Round of 32 at the World Cup. They progressed from a tough group that included England, Croatia and Panama before their campaign ended with a narrow defeat to Colombia.
