Zylofon Cash, AFS Clean Beach

Zylofon Cash, a subsidiary of the Zylofon Group on the 15th of June, 2018 partnered with AFS Intercultural Programs, to clean up the Korle Gonno Beach of Accra. The exercise was an initiative of Zylofon Cash as part of its line of activities to celebrate the Ed Iftar of Muslim communities around the world.

This is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to aid communities reduce the impact of inappropriate waste disposal. Participants who joined the exercise were volunteers from AFS Ghana, a non-governmental organization aimed at connecting cultures through educational intercultural programs.

The beach of Korle Gonno was covered with mostly plastic waste that had been disposed of by individuals who use the beach. At the end of the exercise, all waste deposits had been removed off the beach.

Zylofon Cash is a web-based platform which allows creative persons to monetize their artistic talents through uploads of their contents or ideas. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gabriel Kwabla Kwamigah, the National coordinator of Zylofon Cash explained to ZylofonMediaOnline.com that Zylofon Cash holds the belief that there is the need for building sustainable communities and enriching the lives of people.

He added that, the goal of Zylofon is to promote local creative content and this can best be achieved when communities thrive in cleanliness.

The Zylofon Cash platform provides individuals channel to monetize their creative works. To be a part of this initiative all one has to do is purchase an access card to upload their content. The cards are on sale for 100 Ghana Cedis. The card grants you three (3) chances to upload any content of your choice and you get paid off your uploaded contents.
