Car sticker campaign hits Manhya South

AS PART of campaign strategies to make the New Patriotic Party (NPP) visible and increase the party’s votes on December 7, a car sticker campaign is currently underway on the streets of Kumasi.

Dubbed the ‘Street Morale Campaign and Education’, the programme is organized by the NPP Ashanti Regional Youth Campaign Outreach Team, the Identifiable Youth Groups in Ashanti Region and the Patriotic Morale Team.

Spearheaded by the Ashanti Regional NPP Youth Organizer, Dennis Kwakwa, the political campaign programme enables party members to decorate cars, tricycles and shops with NPP campaign stickers.

Party members in the various constituencies in the Ashanti Region that the programme had already taken place, also uses the grand opportunity to educate the masses about the need to vote massively for the NPP to promote growth.

Also, the NPP members take their time to thoroughly educate the electorates about the proper way to vote on the Day of Election, which is few days away, in order to prevent the wastage of ballot papers.

The Street Morale Campaign and Education train finally stopped at the Manhyia South Constituency on Tuesday, where the NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, led the exercise.

Napo, who is also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Manhyia South, led his party members to decorate cars, tricycles and shops at Abbey’s Park, Dr. Mensah and the Apagyafie area with sublime-looking NPP stickers.

Significantly, there were excitement and joy on the faces of the shop owners, riders and drivers after their cars, tricycles and shops were decorated with g the beautiful-looking NPP stickers.

Napo, in his remarks, said the huge patronage of the exercise clearly gave a strong indication that the people were ready to vote massively and renew the mandate of the NPP government, led by President Akufo-Addo.

The Manhyia South MP urged NPP members to participate in house-to-house campaigns in order to increase the party’s votes on December 7, saying “We should campaign assiduously and win every available vote for the NPP”.
