Lyzy Products Maintains Akrobeto As Ambassador

In a move that underscores its growing influence in Ghana’s food industry, Lyzy Products has renewed their ambassadorial deal agreement with popular Ghanaian entertainer, Akwasi Boadi known in every household as Akrobeto for its flagship products, Lyzy Tomato Mix and Lyzy Shito.

The signing ceremony, held at the elegant Kinno International Hotel in Tema, brought together company executives, to witness what many described as a defining moment in the company’s journey.

Akrobeto, widely admired for his authenticity and connection with ordinary Ghanaians, is expected to play a central role in promoting the brand’s vision of delivering convenient and healthy food options to households across the country.

His endorsement is seen as a strategic alignment with Lyzy’s mission to resonate more deeply with consumers at all levels, both locally and international.

Company representatives at the event expressed confidence that the partnership would not only strengthen brand visibility but also reinforce trust among customers.

In related development, Akrobeto is expected to tour about 7 various regions across the country namely, Eastern, Central, Volta, Western, Northern, Greater Accra, and Ashanti.

He would start the tour from Kumasi from Tuesday, May 5 to Friday, May 8, 2026 for an exciting market activation campaign with the Lyzy team.

The four-day event will see Akrobeto touring major markets across the Ashanti Regional capital, bringing energy, humour, and direct engagement to traders and shoppers alike.

Some of the areas to be toured are Asafo, Prampaso, Kejetia, Race Course, Atonsu, Alabar, and Suame markets.

The initiative forms part of Lyzy Products’ broader strategy to deepen its presence in key commercial hubs while connecting directly with consumers.

Kumasi, known for its vibrant trading culture, has been identified as a critical market for the brand’s expansion drive.

The activation will be packed with product tasting sessions, promotional offers, interactive games, and live entertainment designed to create a lively and memorable shopping experience.

Traders and customers will also have the opportunity to engage Akrobeto up close, as he shares in the everyday market atmosphere that has made him a household favourite.

Lyzy Tomato Mix and Lyzy Shito, the company’s flagship products, will take centre stage during the tour across all the 7 regions.

The campaign is also aimed at showcasing the products’ quality, convenience, and suitability for Ghanaian dishes, while rewarding loyal customers with special deals.

The launch of Lyzy Shito happened almost a year ago by the Unifa Brothers Ghana Limited, distributors of Leap and Lyzy tomato pastes.
