Ray Beat Pledges to Promote Underground Artiste on Discount

Renowned Ghanaian Music Producer, Dr. Ray Beat has pledged to promote underground artistes on discount.

The initiative, according to him, is to help put underground artistes on the limelight and also reduce the stress they go through in getting their songs out there.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with THE PUBLISHER, he said “As an underground musician, it is difficult getting support from anywhere and when you manage to gather some few cash for promotion, some DJ’s take the money and don’t even play your music. I have been there before, I know how hard it is, reason why am about to embark on this initiative.”

He reiterated his readiness to offer discount to the first twenty artiste who will approach him.

“I’m giving an opportunity to the first twenty people to work with me on a discount price, basically paying just half of the price. I believe they are the future ones to hold the music game to the extreme. ‘’- he added.

Born Nana Yaw Nkrumah, Dr. Ray is one of the hardworking producers who is currently pushing the underground musicians including the top acts. He has worked with Kofi Kinaata, Patapaa, Atumpan, Atom, Guru and many more.

Recently he did an European tour with Young Mission Entertainment with his works and he hopes to go back soon to continue.

Dr Ray Beat is not limited to a particular genre of music and this can be seen in his impressive production catalog , having worked with almost all Ghanaian mainstream artistes as well as high-profile international artistes .

Dr. Ray Beat who attributes his success story to Appietus, says he developed his interest in music production by listening to his works.

“I always listened to beats produced by Appietus because his beats are always on point. I fell in love with him after listening to what he did for Ofori Amponsah; Otoolege, Wutah; Kotosa and Sarkodie; Azonto Fiesta” – Dr Ray Beat added.

To connect to this initiative, he entreated all underground musicians to partake in helping them spend less in bringing out their works.
