Ross Barkley deserves Best Player at Training – Victor Moses

Recently retired Nigerian international, Victor Moses has named Ross Barkley as the best player in training at Chelsea at the moment.

Moses, speaking to the official website of Chelsea, noted that the England international of Nigerian parentage, has caught the eye in training recently.

Barkley who joined Chelsea from Everton in January has seen his reputation swell at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri. He has played in all of Chelsea’s competitive matches this season, starting three.

Moses said about Barkley’s performance in training in comparison to the rest of the squad, ”Everyone has been good, everyone is working hard but I’d say Ross Barkley.

”He had a big injury but he’s started the season really well and he’s working his socks off.”

Moses on the other hand has seen his reputation drop under new boss Sarri. It’s still early days but the winger has found himself out of favour at The Blues, so much so that he was left out of their 18 for their last match against Newcastle United despite not carrying an injury.

During the same interview, Brazilian winger Willian wanted to know what Moses planned on doing when he was done with football and the Nigerian said: ”I want to get into business, maybe a property business or something along those lines.”

Moses thinks Andreas Christensen could make a good striker, he picked David Luiz as the outfield player that would make a good goalkeeper and called him the biggest joker in the team, N’Golo Kante the most quiet and Rudiger the loudest.
