Actor Bernard Nyarko’s Last Words

Details of popular Kumawood actor, Bernard Nyarko’s parting words are emerging barely 48-hours after his death.

The deceased famously known on set as ‘Bishop’, days after his death surprisingly announced his decision not to feature in movies any longer.

According to him, there were evil spirits controlling the movie industry.

“Every day you would meet different people, every day you would see different girls all of them want you to become their friends and some of them are coming from the marine sea”, he said.

Bernard who is also a Senior Pastor of Grace Redemption Chapel vowed never to return to the movie industry.

“If I have stopped acting, I have stopped because it’s full of evil….they should take their movie,” he added.

This has been confirmed by his friend, Movie Producer, Ola Michael, who took to his Facebook page to share the last chat he had with the late Bishop Nyarko.

He added “My chat with Bishop Benard Nyarko on 2nd April, 2020. He passed on 2nd May 2020.
Rest well bro.”

Ola clams Bishop had told him in a telephone conversation that God has asked him (Bishop) to put all things aside and do His work

The entertainment pundit noted that the late actor was however reluctant to share the reasons behind his departure from movies into ministry on radio because people could misconstrue it.

Ola said the last time he had a chat with Bernard was last week

Meanwhile although, the family is yet to reveal the cause of the demise of the actor in Accra, some new portals are linking the cause of death of the actor to acute colon cancer.

Even before an official communication is released, social media is already alight as many Ghanaians have expressed shock at the development.
